Acceptable User Policy - Moms Own Space

It is the intent of Moms Own Space ("MomsOwnSpace", "MomsFreeSpace", "We", "Website", or "Site" "Our") to provide its Users ("User", "You" or "Member") free electronic networking, communication, and information and data, including "photographs", exchange services. In order to provide the best services to its Users, Moms Own Space maintains an Acceptable User Policy ("AUP" or "User Policy") that must be strictly adhered to and observed by the User. This document outlines the Acceptable and Prohibited Use of the Moms Own Space. Failing to strictly comply with this AUP, in addition to the terms and conditions as outlined in the Terms of Use, will result in, but not limited to, suspension and or immediate termination of the User account. If you do not agree to this Policy, you should notify us and cancel your account.
  • It is the responsibility of the User to abide by the policy as outlined in this document.
  • It is the responsibility of the User to protect User ID and Password. It is the responsibility of the User to protect the computer hardware that includes the Computer, and any peripheral devices such as the Printer, Mouse, Display Devices, Storage Media, Scanner, Fax, and any electronic devices connected to the Computer and software from any external intrusion including computer virus, spam, or harmful cookies.
  • It is the responsibility of the User to observe the Law of the Land (including the Local, State, Federal/Central, and International Law) in using Moms Own Space.
  • It is the responsibility of the User to show Decency, Civility, and good Citizenship in using Moms Own Space.
  • It is the responsibility of the User to not engage in any of the prohibited conducts as outlined below:

Prohibited Conducts:

Prohibited conducts are Prohibited Activities or Prohibited Use of the Moms Own Space as described below:

  1. Engaging in unlawful activities including storing, posting, distributing, transmitting any material (documents,  photographs, information, or data) that a reasonable personal will consider objectionable and that are unlawful, libelous, obscene, insulting, threatening, defamatory, or which infringes the intellectual property rights of any person or entity, or which in any way constitutes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any local, state, federal or international law, order or regulation.
  2. Storing, posting, distributing, transmitting, or disseminating any material that are vulgar, embarrassing, pornographic, distressing, hateful, insulting, offensive to an ethnic, racial, or any isolated group, religion, and demography regardless of this material and its dissemination is unlawful or not.
  3. Storing, posting, distributing, transmitting, or disseminating any material protected by the Copyright Laws or Intellectual Property Laws without written or expressed permission of the Copyright or Intellectual Property holder. When permission is obtained to store, post, distribute, transmit, or disseminate such (Copyright and Intellectual Property), such permission be properly displayed and acknowledgment be made clearly to the original source.
  4. Sending multiple copies of the same or similar messages, empty messages or send very large files with an intent to disrupt a server, User account, newsgroup, or any services.
  5. Sending unsolicited messages or "spam" for commercial or any personal purposes.
  6. Engaging in fraudulent activities, including but not limited to, impersonating any person or entity, falsifying someone else’s digital or manual signature, falsifying sender address.
  7. Engaging in initiating, perpetuating, or participating in any pyramidal or other illegal soliciting scheme.
  8. Engaging in collecting personal identification information, email addresses, screen names, without prior written or expressed permission of the person concerned.
  9. Engaging in commercial ventures, such as promoting, advertising, selling, or buying commercial or personal merchandise.   

User Responsibilities:

Moms Own Space is committed to protecting Personal Identification Information of the User and providing a quality Service to its members at no cost.  However, Moms Own Space can not protect the Users for the information they share with other Users. Additionally, Users have the responsibility to protect their account from fraud and misuse, and determine the suitability of storing, posting, transmitting, or disseminating information or any material as listed below:

  1. Users alone are responsible for protecting their User ID, Password and any improper or illegal use of their account.  
  2. Users alone are responsible for the content of their messages, posting to a news group, or data transmitted directly or in electronic messages. 
  3.  Users alone are responsible for determining what material (information, document, photographs, or any other digital material) to share.
  4.  Users alone are responsible for determining their "Friends" and allowing Access to their "shared" materials, including any information, document, or photographs.
